Wholesome Writing Word Wednesday: 10.9.2013 Edition

Published October 9, 2013 by swanielwolfambrosia2010

Hi, people, today is Wednesday, also known as Hump Day, although I wish it to be Hemp Day for all my Green High Friends and Family out there.  But, anyway, let us get to today’s word:  nidus, Latin for the word nest. However, we English speaking people give it a bad name….for anything bacterially germy, that is.  Like the toilet.  (Thank you, Mr. Crapper.)  And, one more thing:   Nye-dis is the pronounciation of the word.

Sentence for the 1st meaning of nidus:  South America is the nidus of the condor.

2nd meaning:  Japan is the nidus of sushi.

So there you have it, folks, of Wholesome Writing Word Wednesday!  And do your homework, kids, for there is no short way to success, but there are short ways to many failures.
